New Street station buildings

This is a closer view of the southern entrance to New Street station. It seems so logical to have this entrance as it's the only side of the station that roads are at platform level, but for whatever reason this was not an area utilised much before. This area did previously house a lot of infrastructure for the Royal Mail trains, but now some parking has to be moved, along with most of the on board crew (except drivers) from CrossCountry train services based at New StreetPrevious | NextTaken from the end of platform 12b, looking west, you can see where the track and even points have been removed from the west dock
